I spoke with Ginny Plaster this week. She wanted me to let you know that the outpouring of love and support from the NCO churches was very helpful to the family during Dave’s illness and homegoing. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as many adjustments and decisions lie ahead. I thought it would be good to compiel some of your memories and thoughts about Dave and give them to Ginny. You may have already sent a card or communicated in some way, but if you would like, take a few minutes to reply to this Update with your message to her about Dave. Thanks!

Below is a list of scheduled events for 2010.
- April 7 – NCO Exams at GBC of Columbus (9:30-12:00); lunch provided

- April 15 – Greater Columbus Church Planting gathering at VisionOhio Operations Center (9:30-12:00)
- May 13 – NCO Spring Ministerium at Grace Church Powell (9:30-12:00); lunch provided
- May 13 – NCO District Missions at Grace Church Powell (1:00-3:00)
- May 17-18 – VisionOhio “Future Story 2020″ at Delaware GBC (6:30-8:30 M and 9:00-3:00 T)
- June 14-19 – BEYOND Middle School Camp
NCO Exams, April 7, GBC of Columbus, 9:30-12:00
Five men (two for ordination and three for licensure) are prepared.
- Jeremy Bury (Marysville Grace) – licensure
- Josh Jackson (Capital City Grace) – licensure
- Eric Miller (Capital City Grace) – licensure
- Kary Oberbrunner (Grace Church Powell) – ordination
- Shawn Kaeser (Darby Grace) – ordination
The exams will be at the GBC of Columbus (8225 Worthington-Galena Rd, Westerville 43081). We will need at least four ordained men for each exam. Other NCO church ministers are welcome to participate in the exams. If you are ordained and are planning to attend, please e-mail Todd Scoles at tscoles@marysvillegrace.org so we can assign you. Lunch will be provided.
Youth Worship Night, April 7, Grace Church Powell, 7:00-8:30
Youth groups and all NCO pastors are invited to an evening or praise and celebration with Jeremy Bury and the Marysville Grace worship band at Grace Church Powell (7600 Liberty Rd, Powell 43065).
Greater Columbus Church Planting, April 15, VisionOhio Operations Center, 9:30-12:00
Tony Webb, Director of VisionOhio, invites the pastors of the Greater Columbus area to continue the discussion and planning for new churches. Hear the “Future Story 2020″ and updates on new locations for 2010. The Operations Center is located at 6730 Rings Rd, Dublin 43016 (southern end of the Northwest Chapel campus). Enter through the door in the back.
NCO Spring Ministerium and District Missions, May 13, Grace Church Powell
The program is being planned for our Spring gathering. Ministerium will meet 9:30-12:00, with lunch provided. District Missions will begin at 1:00. More details to come.
VisionOhio “Future Story 2020″, May 17-18, Delaware GBC
Own the vision! A number of Grace Brethren leaders in Ohio have taken the challenge to seek God’s counsel about church planting in our state over the next ten years. By faith, a document has been produced that describes that vision. This “Future Story” tells what may come to pass if we diligently seek Him for the expansion of His work in Ohio.
Monday evening, May 17, 6:30-8:30, the “Future Story” will be unveiled at Delaware GBC (375 Hills-Miller Rd, Delaware 43015) in a service of worship and dedication led by Ted Rastetter of the Soma church plant in Springfield. Tuesday, May 18, 9:00-3:00, will focus on how to get started with making the Future Story reality. Your voice is needed in this discussion.
